Beautiful post! You articulated so much of what my journey has been hosting reading groups for the past 2 years. Especially the tension between holding a container while being inevitably transformed by it. Being generous and transparent while also being the person planning, maintaining, and understanding the limits of the structure.

Yes! This! All of this. Been reading / savouring this slowly all day. #17 speaks to something I've been thinking about writing, an attempt to explore the conflation of community with friendship...to zoom into the ways desire for belonging, friendship & intimacy as *the* goal become centred in movement spaces - and the subsequent heartbreak / collapsing into "harm" - which in turn poses such significant risk to our missions. You've articulated some of this so beautifully. A thread I'd love to generatively pull some more. Thank you for writing.
